The German-Dutch Graphic Arts Fair in Borken (Westfalen)

Every year during the first weekend in March, the German-Dutch Graphic Arts Fair invites you to a lively event. It is dedicated to artistic printmaking, original graphics and at the same time actively and sustainably promotes mutual cultural exchange between the neighboring countries of Germany and the Netherlands. The fair is quite successful: Every year around 2,500 people from both countries visit the three-day event.

The spectrum of the artworks presented is wide: It ranges from serial prints, artist books, mixed media works to photographs.

Artists, galleries, art associations, bookstores and photographers can present their works at 70 exhibition stands. An expert jury selects the participants from the applications received.

Publicity for young artists: Since 2007, students of graphic arts and photography classes from various universities have been invited to present works on the Graphic Arts Fair and thus bring themselves and their art into the conversation.

The Graphic Arts Fair is not just a sales show. At the same time, it is a forum for exchange for German and Dutch friends and artists of printmaking and all those who enjoy being able to get in touch with art across borders in an informal way.
